Tony Storr, Graham Cross & Nick Brown are delighted to bring to the market, STORRCROSS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, the new kid on the block. SCI will be offering high quality services in the Warehousing, Haulage & European Distribution sector, capitalising on their associated business of UK ISO Tank Container Haulage.

”We believe that by providing Haulage, warehousing and distribution services in close proximity to the port complex of Hull and the wider Humber port network, we can take advantage of the existing and future developments taking place in and around the Humber and by adding these facilities to the already established business of John Dobson Ltd, we believe that we can truly offer our customers a door to door service, whether that be national or international.”

Joint statement from Tony Storr, Graham Cross & Nick Brown.

StorrCross History

The owners of Storrcross International, first met back in 1965 whilst at primary school and grew up together, going through secondary school, Athletics and school Rugby ending up in them playing for the same Rugby union Club, Ionians RUFC, later to become Hull Ionians RUFC, from 1975 to 2000 when after their playing careers were over, they supported and continue to support the club from the sidelines.

Tony and Graham’s careers also ended up being in Logistics, although different disciplines; Tony managing a fleet of vehicles involved in the carriage of ISO Tank Containers throughout the UK ultimately ending up with him owning and operating his own fleet of vehicles under the ‘John Dobson’ name. Graham on the other hand went into Freight Forwarding and European Container transport.

It is not surprising therefore that Tony and Graham have come back together to form Storrcross International Limited to enhance and work with their core businesses and increase their services by being able to now offer Pallet Racking, Pallet handling, vehicle handling and distribution facilities to their current customer bases and at the same time taking advantage of the developments in and around the Humber Ports, Renewable Energy & Offshore wind sectors,  in particular in supporting those tier one and tier two type companies looking to locate on the Energy Estuary to form the support ‘cluster’.
